Job summary

Splunk, a Cisco company, is recruiting an Account Executive in Canberra to drive growth in the Federal Government market. You will acquire new business and expand existing engagements using the combined Splunk and Cisco portfolio to address security, observability, and data analytics.

You will manage a named Federal Government Civilian accounts list, hit revenue targets, and collaborate with Splunk Sales Engineering and Cisco teams to deepen penetration and deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Extensive Federal Government sales experience within ACT in the SaaS space.
• Established senior-level and executive relationships within the Federal Government.
• Confidence in using Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a named Federal Government accounts list.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for licenses, support, and services.
• Collaborate with Splunk, Cisco teams to deepen penetration and deliver value.
• Lead pricing, negotiations, and value-based selling discussions.
• Maintain forecasting and pipeline accuracy in Salesforce.
