Peta + Jain in Caringbah, NSW, Australia, is seeking a Production/Buyers Assistant to support the buying and design team. Based at head office, you will handle order raising, product creation, data entry in internal systems, and liaison with suppliers, ensuring timely samples and shipments.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proactive follow-up, and strong Excel/Shopify/CIN7 skills. A fashion/marketing/business education is desirable; permanent residents only.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or buying or similar admin role will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and the ability to proactively follow up.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist buyer with order raising and barcode creation.
• Create products and maintain product data across all internal systems.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain supplier relationships.
• Oversee and coordinate the tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability.
• Coordinate and track inbound product shipments to ensure timely and accurate warehouse delivery.
• Assist the Buyer in communication and requests from wholesale customers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer demands.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders across Marketing and Operations to assist in delivering clear messaging around product releases and delivery.
• Creation of products and product copy in Shopify.
• Management and creation of products in CIN7.
