MESHKI is seeking a skilled Fashion Designer to join a fast-paced, trend-driven team. You will turn emerging trends into market-ready products with speed and a strong eye for customer needs.

You will design across multiple categories, balance trend-led styles with core commercial pieces, and develop mood boards, tech packs and silhouettes that reflect MESHKI’s aesthetic and speed to market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fashion design experience in fast-paced or DTC environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing commercial, trend-led design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD tools.
• Solid knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.

Responsabilités

• Design from initial concept to final product across trend-led and commercial pieces.
• Respond quickly to emerging trends and social/influencer movements.
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, sketches and silhouettes for seasonal concepts.
• Create clear tech packs; collaborate with Garment Tech to ensure on-time production.
• Lead fittings and make adjustments for fit and construction.
• Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, Garment Tech and Marketing to align with commercial goals.
• Review weekly sell-through data to inform repeats and reworks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Fashion Designer who thrives on pace and can turn emerging trends into product quickly. This role suits a commercially minded, adaptable designer who loves the energy of a reactive environment and can move from concept to final product with speed, accuracy and a strong eye for what our customer wants now.

You will design across a broad mix of categories, balancing trend-led and core commercial styles that reflect MESHKI’s aesthetic and perform at speed.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Design from initial concept to final product, delivering a balanced mix of trend-led and commercial pieces across entry through exit price points.
• Respond quickly to emerging trends, social and influencer movements, and sell-through performance, turning insights into reactive styles and chase opportunities on tight timeframes.
• Develop mood boards, colour palettes, sketches and silhouettes that bring seasonal and in-season concepts to life while flattering diverse body shapes.
• Conduct ongoing trend and market research, including social media, street style, store visits, consumer behaviour and competitor movement.
• Create clear, accurate tech packs and work closely with Garment Tech to ensure designs are translated into final product on time, on budget and to MESHKI’s quality standards.
• Lead fittings and make quick, considered adjustments to achieve the right fit, finish and construction.
• Select fabrics and materials with a focus on cost, availability, suitability and speed to market, while championing preferred fibres and lower-impact alternatives wherever possible.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, Garment Tech and Marketing to align designs with commercial goals, range architecture and drop schedules.
• Review weekly sell-through data and take accountability for product performance, using commercial insight to inform repeats, reworks and future designs.
• Support and guide a Design Assistant within your POD, delegating effectively and providing regular feedback.
• Contribute to a high-performance culture built on accountability, proactive communication and solution-focused thinking.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

• 3+ years of fashion design experience, ideally within a fast-paced, trend-driven or DTC environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing commercial, trend-led design capability.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD software and other design tools.
• Solid knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.
• A sharp commercial instinct and the ability to translate trends into best-selling product quickly.
• Comfort working to short lead times, shifting priorities and multiple drops at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and fit even at pace.
• A deep passion for fashion and a strong understanding of the MESHKI brand identity and values.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative spirit that contributes to a supportive and inspiring team environment.
