Job summary

Kilcoolin Holdings in Euroa, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to lead and oversee all farming operations on a 5300 acre mixed farm including sheep, cattle and cropping. This full-time role offers on-site accommodation suitable for a family and the opportunity to drive strategic direction and day-to-day management.

You will manage crop production, livestock husbandry, staff recruitment and safety, while planning seasonal activities and ensuring equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in farm management or a similar senior agricultural role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production and livestock management.
• Team management and staff development capabilities.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to operate farm machinery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day farming operations, including crop management, livestock husbandry, and pasture maintenance.
• Supervise farm staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Monitor and maintain farm equipment and infrastructure, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
• Plan and execute seasonal farming activities from planting to harvest, breeding, and veterinary care.
• Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.

Kilcoolin Holdings is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to join our team in Euroa, Victoria. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our farming enterprise. As Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day management, and continuous improvement of our farming operations.

The property is a 5300 acre mixed farm including sheep (Merino and crossbred), cattle (Angus) and cropping.

The position includes quality on farm accommodation suitable for a family.

Key responsibilities
