Randstad is seeking a Farm Insurance Specialist for regional Victoria. The role is field-based, visiting farms to assess risk and tailor insurance solutions, with ownership of a rural client portfolio.

You will build trust in the farming community through direct, face-to-face expertise and proactive growth of your book of business. Ideal candidates are regional Victoria residents with agriculture exposure, a sales-driven mindset, and a desire for a long-term career in farm risk solutions.

Farm Insurance Specialist - Regional VIC

Locations: Regional Victoria - preference for Central or Western Victoria but open to other regional areas

This isn't a "sit-behind-a-desk" role. It's a dynamic, on-the-road sales and service position where your office changes every day. You'll be out in the community, building genuine relationships and delivering risk solutions that actually make a difference to rural families.

What You'll Be Doing

• Hitting the Road: Visiting farms to conduct on-site risk analysis and offer tailored solutions.

• Owning Your Patch: Growing and managing your own portfolio of rural clients.

• Community Presence: Building trust with local farmers through face-to-face expertise.

• Driving Growth: Proactively converting leads into long-term, loyal partnerships.

About You (The Essentials)

• Local Knowledge: You are currently residing in regional Victoria (ideally Central VIC or Western VIC) or surrounding areas. Local roots matter.

• Ag-Fluent: You have a demonstrated background, exposure, or a deep interest in the Agriculture sector.

• Sales Grit: You've worked to targets before. You know how to identify new business, manage a pipeline, and close a deal.

• Stability & Commitment: We are looking for someone who wants to plant roots. You have a demonstrated track record of commitment and are looking for your next long-term career move.

The Payoff

• On Offer: Up to $127K pkg (subject to exp) Variable Rem + health and welfare benefits.

• Vehicle: Tools of trade including company car

• Flexibility: Hybrid

• Extra: Insurance experience is a plus, however, we'll back the right person. If you have a background in Ag-Banking, Sales and Customer service with a strong connection to the farm community, we'll pay for your RG146 and provide full training.
