Job summary

Samaritans is seeking a Family Visit Support Worker to assist families and children during supervised visits in a safe environment. You will work with a Case Manager to nurture relationships and help achieve family visit goals.

The role involves planning, supervision, and providing feedback to ensure successful family time for children, carers and family members, including transportation to visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Drivers License required or willingness to obtain.
• NSW Working with Children Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Current NDIS Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Criminal History Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Pre-employment functional medical assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and provide feedback to support family time.
• Assist parents and children to maintain meaningful relationships in a safe setting.
• Provide transportation to family visits and ensure overall well‑being during visits.
