Newcastle Anglican is seeking a Family Visit Support Worker to partner with the Case Manager in enabling safe, meaningful family visits for children and young people in care.

You will help plan, supervise and provide feedback on visits, and arrange transport to visits, supporting families, carers and children in a caring, collaborative environment.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a focus on safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Formación

• Experience in supervised contact, out-of-home care, or children’s services.
• Understanding of child development and the impact of trauma.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Support children and parents during family visits to maintain relationships in a supervised care setting.
• Collaborate with Case Manager to plan and supervise family time and provide feedback.
• Provide transportation to family visits.
