Kanda is seeking a family support professional to work with children, young people and families facing challenging circumstances. You’ll help parents recognise strengths, grow parenting skills, and connect families with practical supports to build safer futures.

This role emphasizes listening, respectful engagement, and collaboration with Child Safety, schools and community services to create meaningful, lasting change.

You’ll Bring
  • A genuine commitment to supporting children, young people and families.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage people using a respectful, strengths-based approach.
  • A current Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).
  • A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • A completed or currently enrolled Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work or a related qualification.
  • Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster
