Key Assets Australia is seeking a Family Services Practitioner to promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and families. You will work with families to provide early intervention and prevention support to reduce risks and strengthen family capabilities.
Reporting to the Team Manager, you will engage with children, youth and priority groups, conduct home visits, assessments and targeted support, and contribute to safety checks and risk management.

A little about the role
Reporting to the Team Manager / Family Services Senior Practitioner, the Family Services Practitioner will play a key role in promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people. You will work closely with families, offering early intervention and prevention support to reduce risks to children, strengthen family capabilities, and improve outcomes for both children and their families.
Some key responsibilities include:
Full-Time position: The base salary for this position is $92,286.48 - $99,294.52 (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.
Part Time position: The base salary for this position is $92,286.48 - $99,294.52 (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + vehicle allowance + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.

You’re passionate about improving the lives of children and supporting family preservation through early intervention. You will be confident in providing a family-centred, strengths-based approach to parenting support, ultimately resulting in capacity building of participants.
