Job summary

Wesley Mission in New South Wales is seeking a casual Family Contact Supervisor to monitor visits between children and their families, and to provide transport, respite or mentoring support as required.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will join a team delivering high-quality family contact support across the Greater Sydney region. An induction program and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent; qualification in child/family welfare is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with children and families facing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Monitor family visits between children and their families.
• Provide transport, respite or mentoring as requested.
• Prepare reports based on observations.
• Complete induction and on-the-job training.
• Work across a 7-day shift pattern including mornings, afternoons/evenings, and weekends.
