Job summary

Dark Red Industries is hiring a Factory Worker for their Kelso, NSW facility on a casual, as-needed basis. You will assist in assembling frames and trusses, operate machinery, perform quality checks, and help with packaging and inventory.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work with flexible casual hours, stand for extended periods, and follow SOPs. Training on equipment will be provided to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or factory environments preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of manual tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual with flexibility to work casual hours.
• Authorization to work in Australia.
• Willingness to undertake training on company equipment.

Responsibilities

About the role

Dark Red Industries is seeking a Factory Worker to join our team at our Kelso, NSW facility. This is a casual position offering flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. As a Factory Worker, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, contributing to the assembly and processing of frames and trusses that meet our high- quality standards. This position is essential to maintaining our production schedules and ensuring operational efficiency across our facility.

What you'll be doing

• Operating machinery and equipment safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Assembling and processing components as part of our production line workflows
• Performing quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
• Packaging and labelling finished products for storage or dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of work stations
• Following health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe workplace
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
• Assisting with inventory management and material handling as required

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly work, or factory environments (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting items
