Job summary

Omnia Wheel in New South Wales is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to bridge order demands and factory execution for injection moulding, CNC, and assembly. This permanent role requires building daily schedules and maintaining data in NetSuite.

You will develop production plans in Google Sheets or Excel, monitor material availability, and adjust plans for urgent orders, all on-site at our Beresfield manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Production Planner in manufacturing.
• Experience with plastics or injection moulding processes preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
• Hands-on ERP data entry and inventory tracking experience, NetSuite preferred.

Job description

Omnia Wheel is seeking a detail-oriented, permanent Production Planner to join our production team. This critical role bridges the gap between order demands and factory floor execution, optimizing our injection moulding processes. Because we do not currently use an automated MRP system, you will use your advanced spreadsheet skills to build, maintain, and execute the daily production schedule while keeping our NetSuite ERP system accurate.

About the Company

Omnia Wheel is an award winning company that designs, develops, and manufactures advanced omni-directional wheels for robotics, conveyor systems, and materials-handling equipment. We are growing both locally and internationally, exporting to more than 50 countries. We operate 15 injection molding machines as well as a range of manual assembly stations and CNC machines which are scheduled via a combination of direct day to plan and KANBAN systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily manufacturing schedules for injection moulding machines, CNC machines and assembly stations across our product families.
• Build and manage production plans in Google Sheets (preferred) or Microsoft Excel
• Manage, update, and audit baseline manufacturing data within NetSuite ERP
• Enter daily production outputs, material scrap, and completed jobs into NetSuite
• Track raw material and component availability to prevent downtime on the production floor
• Adjust schedules dynamically to accommodate urgent orders or machine maintenance

About you

• Proven track record as a Production Planner in manufactuirng enviroment
• Preferrably knowledge in plastics or injection moulding processes
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
• Hands-on experience using ERP system for data entry and inventory tracking (NetSuite preferred)
• Ability to manually schedule complex workflows without relying on automated MRP systems
• Ability to work full-time on-site at our Beresfield manufacturing site
