Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking a reliable Factory Labourer for a hands-on role in Melbourne's Dingley Village area. You will work with hand and power tools to assemble products and support production on a busy shop floor.

You will drill, fasten and handle metal components, read assembly instructions, perform quality checks and help with packing and labelling while maintaining a safe, tidy workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, factory work or warehousing.
• Confidence using drills, power tools and basic workshop equipment.
• Experience working with metal components and performing manual assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Factory Labourer – Hand & Power Tool Experience

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer with strong experience using hand and power tools to join a well-established manufacturing company located in Dingley Village.

About the Role

• Assembling products using a range of hand and power tools
• Using drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers and other workshop tools
• Drilling, fastening and working with various metal components
• Operating production and manufacturing machinery
• Reading and following assembly instructions and procedures
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Packing, labelling and moving products throughout the production process
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, factory work or warehousing
• Confidence using drills, power tools and basic workshop equipment
• Experience working with metal components and performing manual assembly
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• A strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual attitude
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Full Australian working rights
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Availability to start immediately
