Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Forklift operator/Factory Labourer to join our client in Helensvale, Gold Coast. This Monday–Friday role begins early at 5am/6am, with 8–9 hour shifts and on-site duties including loading steel, packing, and operating factory machinery.

A drug and alcohol screen will be required. You will need a valid High Risk Forklift Ticket, a valid Driver's Licence, and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience is essential.
• Physically fit and able to pass screening.
• High Risk Forklift Ticket holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load steel onto trucks using the forklift.
• Load steel onto pallets and prep for dispatch.
• Operate machines to assist manufacturing of reinforcing bars.
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory floor.

About our client

Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards. They are looking for an experienced Forklift operator/Factory Laboutrer to join their team in Helensvale.

What you will be doing

They are currently seeking an experience Forklift operator/Factory Labourer to join to their team out of their Helensvale yard/warehouse. This is a Monday Friday position commencing at 5am/6am working 8- 9 hour days. You will be trained and responsible for the following duties;

• Welding steel


• Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift


• Loading steel onto pallets


• Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet


• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars


• Maintain cleanliness of the factory

The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.

What you will need
