Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a hardworking Factory Hand for a well-established Australian manufacturer of reinforcing products in Western Australia. You will assist in steel production, load and pack orders, and operate forklift equipment in a rotating shift environment.

The role offers an immediate start, a stable long-term path, and a temp-to-perm opportunity with no lengthy onboarding. Candidates should be physically fit and hold a forklift ticket, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (ideally in the steel industry).
• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• Forklift Ticket

• Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen

About the Client

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcement products supporting the construction and infrastructure industries. They specialise in the manufacturing, processing and distribution of reinforcing steel, mesh and associated construction materials used across residential, commercial and civil projects.

Shift structure:

Rotating shift | Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm one week. 8am 4pm the following.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will be working as a factory hand to help manufacture steel and also operate the forklift. Your main duties will include:

• Loading steel onto pallets


• Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet


• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars


• Maintain cleanliness of the factory

What You Will Need
