Job summary

Melbourne Towbars & Trailer Centre is seeking a reliable Factory All-Rounder / Warehouse Hand in Campbellfield to keep the warehouse, stock and daily operations running smoothly. The role combines physical warehouse work with computer-based stock control using Odoo.

Ideal candidates are practical, organized and proactive with at least 1 year in warehousing or manufacturing. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Confident using a computer, email and stock system (Odoo training provided).

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks and courier deliveries.
• Receiving goods into stock system and checking against purchase orders.
• Following up missing items, backorders and freight charges.
• Organising and putting stock away correctly.
• Preparing and staging parts for jobs.
• Picking, packing and dispatching orders, including courier bookings and proof-of-delivery photos.
• Handling customer returns as directed by the office.
• Deliveries and pickups around Melbourne using company vehicles.
• Stock counts and keeping stock records accurate.
• Opening and locking up the site.
• Keeping the factory clean, safe and organised.
• Restocking consumables and gas bottles.
• Clearing and selling old or excess stock.

Melbourne Towbars & Trailer Centre is a busy towbar and vehicle accessories business in Campbellfield. We fit towbars, wiring, roof racks, bullbars and accessories for retail customers, dealers, fleets and trade clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Factory All-Rounder / Warehouse Hand to join our team. This is a key role in the business. You will keep our warehouse, stock and daily operations running smoothly.

The role is a mix of physical warehouse work and computer-based stock control. It suits someone practical, organised and proactive who takes pride in getting things done properly.

Key Responsibilities

Unloading trucks and courier deliveries

Receiving goods into our stock system (Odoo) and checking quantities against purchase orders and delivery dockets

Following up missing items, backorders and freight charges with the right staff member

Organising and putting stock away correctly

Preparing and staging parts for upcoming jobs

Picking, packing and dispatching orders, including courier bookings and proof-of-delivery photos

Handling customer returns as directed by the office

Deliveries and pickups around Melbourne using company vehicles

Helping with stock counts and keeping stock records accurate

Opening and locking up the site

Keeping the factory clean, safe and organised

Emptying bins, managing cardboard, and restocking consumables and gas bottles

Helping clear and sell old or excess stock

About You

Reliable and punctual

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Organised, with good attention to detail

Confident using a computer, email and a stock or inventory system (Odoo training provided)

Good written and spoken English

Able to take initiative and work independently

Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential

At least 1 year of warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

What We Offer

$60,000 to $65,000 per year plus super

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, no weekends
