Job summary

LELOX AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking a Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at the South Windsor, NSW facility on a full-time basis. This hands-on role supports efficient manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet quality standards and contributing to a safe work environment.

You will gain experience in manufacturing while working with an experienced team. We are looking for individuals able to perform manual tasks, lift and stand for extended periods, follow instructions, and work

Qualifications

• Basic tools experience; training provided by Lelox.
• Ability to perform manual work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing and processing of stainless steel truck mudguards and mounting accessories.
• Operate machinery safely under supervision.
• Monitor production output and report defects to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
• Check finished products for quality before packaging.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Support team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

About the role

We are seeking a Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at our South Windsor, NSW facility on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in manufacturing and production operations. You will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet quality standards, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing whilst working alongside an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacturing and processing of stainless steel truck mudguards and mounting accessories according to specification and quality requirements
• Operating machinery and equipment safely and effectively under supervision and guidance
• Monitoring production output and reporting any issues or defects to supervisory staff
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area in compliance with workplace safety standards
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
• Checking finished products for quality and ensuring they meet company standards before packaging
• Following all workplace safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Someone who has used basic tools and has an understanding of manufacturing (all training provided by Lelox)
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual work, including lifting, standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Willingness to follow instructions and work safely in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts as required by the business
• A valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport to South Windsor.
