Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Factory Hand to support a respected manufacturing company producing high-quality steel products. You will be involved in material handling, packing, and operating machinery with training provided. LF forklift licence is desirable but not required.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with full-time, consistent hours in a structured environment. A team-focused culture emphasizes safety and quality in every task.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a production environment.
• Capable of manual tasks and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production processes and ensure quality outcomes.
• Handle materials and manage inventory; pick and pack orders.
• Operate mills and other manufacturing equipment after training.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts where licensed.
• Receive and dispatch goods; perform general labouring duties.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals; maintain safety.

What you will be required to do:

As a Factory Hand, you will assist in the production process, ensuring high-quality outcomes and safe work practices. Responsibilities include:

• Material handling and inventory management
• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Operating machinery, including manufacturing mills (training provided)
• Operating overhead cranes and forklifts (if licensed)
• Receiving and dispatching goodsPerforming general labouring and manual handling tasks
• Collaborating with team members to achieve production goals
• Following strict safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free workplace

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have previous labouring or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Have experience in machine operation in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Hold an LF forklift licence (desirable but not required)
• Demonstrate strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Show attention to detail, reliability, and a team-focused attitude
• Have full working rights in Australia and access to reliable transport
