Job summary

UPA Aged Care Solutions seeks a Facility Manager to lead the Richmond Facility in the North Coast Region. You will draw on clinical knowledge and leadership to enhance the resident experience, develop the team, and drive continuous improvement.

You will work with a regional leadership and corporate team to ensure residents feel valued, families have confidence, and staff are supported to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Recent management experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to quality improvement and accreditation standards.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Act and funding instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families.
• Genuine empathy and person-centred care.
• Experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in a related field is advantageous.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Facility Manager to lead our Richmond Facility in the North Coast Region.

This is an opportunity to bring your leadership experience, clinical knowledge and passion for aged care to a role where you can shape the resident experience, develop your team and drive continuous improvement.

You’ll have the autonomy to lead, backed by an engaged and experienced regional leadership and corporate team. Your leadership will help create an environment where residents feel valued, families feel confident and staff feel supported to deliver their best.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Recent management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary team.
• A strong commitment to quality improvement and aged care accreditation standards.
• An understanding of the Aged Care Act, best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Genuine empathy and a commitment to person-centred care.
• Previous experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager, ideally.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field, advantageous but not essential.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful candidate must have completed, or be willing to undertake, the following:

• Vaccination requirements in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy, including proof of required doses of a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza vaccination.
• National Criminal History Check.
• Pre-Employment Medical Assessment.
• NDIS Clearance.
