Job summary

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited (UPA) invites applications for a Facility Manager at Oolong Hostel in the Riverina Murray region. You will lead a successful aged care service, mentor a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality resident care with strong governance.

Autonomy is balanced by a supportive leadership and corporate team. Essential registration, compliance knowledge and 3–5 years of aged care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
• Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards.
• 3–5 years clinical experience in aged care.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act and best practice documentation.
• Experience mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of Commonwealth aged care funding instruments.
• Strong passion and commitment to aged care services.
• Deep empathy and general care for residents.
• Experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in related area viewed favourably.

The Opportunity

Oolong Hostel in our Riverina Murray Region (a xx-bed facility), provides exceptional care and services to senior members of the community.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Facility Manager to join our team and manage this successful service. Experience in Aged Care is preferred along with recent management experience.

In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:

• Current AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a National Police Check
• Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards
• 3-5 years clinical experience in aged care
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, best practice documentation
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staff
• Knowledge of best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instruments
• A strong passionand commitment in the delivery of Aged Care Services
• A deep empathy and general care for aged care residents
• Previous experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in a related area viewed favourably
