Job summary

City Venue Management's Rackley Swimming Parkwood is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead operations, people, programs, and customer experience at our community aquatic facility on the Gold Coast. You will drive safety, efficiency, and commercial outcomes while building a high-performing team.

You'll manage budgets, maintain pool plant operations, engage with schools and community groups, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the site.

• Experience leading aquatic, leisure, recreation or community facilities.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team across operations, swim school, customer service, and aquatic programs.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the facility ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Drive membership, program participation and swim school growth through exceptional customer service and community engagement.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, reporting and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, risk management and child safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain high standards of pool plant operations and facility presentation.
• Build relationships with schools, community groups, stakeholders and customers.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
