Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking a practical Facilities Support Officer to help maintain and present our Administrative Centre and Main Works Depot. Help keep Lake Mac’s key civic facilities safe, welcoming and ready for the people who use them every day. As Facilities Support Officer, you’ll play a hands‑on role supporting the presentation, maintenance and day‑to‑day operation of Council’s Administrative Centre and Main Works Depot.
In this role, you’ll support a wide range of property related activities that help keep Council’s facilities professionally presented, safe and welcoming. Working across the Administrative Centre and Main Works Depot, you’ll assist with daily operations, coordinate maintenance activities and respond to reactive works so our workplaces remain clean, secure and fit for purpose.
This is a role where strong time management and clear communication will make a real difference. You’ll be balancing planned maintenance with reactive work, managing multiple priorities across busy sites and making sure requests are followed through to completion. Whether you’re working with contractors, responding to facility issues or keeping stakeholders informed, you’ll help close the loop, so people know what’s happening and our facilities continue to operate smoothly.
