Job summary

Pinpoint Property Recruitment is partnering with a leading facilities services provider in Melbourne to recruit an Estimator. The role focuses on pricing services across cleaning, catering, security, and hard facilities, collaborating with Business Development Managers to craft competitive bids.

You will identify labour, materials and time costs, maintain pricing models and prepare tender responses for state and national opportunities, while reviewing client documents and preparing analytic

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities services.
• Exposure to labour models and pricing.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with financial modelling awareness.

Responsibilities

• Pricing of services across cleaning, catering, security and hard facilities services
• Identifying and computing the cost of labour, materials and time requirements for the work to be carried out
• Contributing to and maintaining pricing models to support the bidding process
• Providing advice and support to Business Development Managers and the Commercial Manager/Estimators at a State and National level in order to prepare responses and quotations
• Reviewing, analysing and understanding all client documents, including but not limited to Briefs, Conditions, Contracts, Scope of Works, Specifications and Service Agreements.
• The preparation of special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends
• Stakeholder management and reporting, including formalised presentation of tenders to the C-suite level

The Opportunity:

The role of Estimator will see you working in a small, dynamic and forward-thinking commercial team. Working closely with the Business Development Managers, Executives and other Estimators, you will play an integral part in the future success of the business. You will use your commercial acumen to develop figures and a strategy to build competitive pricing models that align with the company's culture and values.

As Estimator, your responsibilities will be varied and include:

• Pricing of services across cleaning, catering, security and hard facilities services

Your Attributes and Experience:

• We are looking for a unique individual who is committed and confident in their approach to estimating.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities services, demonstrating exposure to labour models, will see you thrive. You might already be an estimator or working in operations, capable of pricing, and looking for a position change.
• You will excel in attention to detail and strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand financial modelling, pricing tools, and benchmarks.
• Strong IT skills, including a proficiency in AI, would be highly regarded.
