Job summary

CEA Technologies in Canberra is seeking an experienced Facilities Officer – Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our buildings and support a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

You will perform general cleaning tasks, manage waste, maintain touch-points and collaborate with the Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience, strong time management, attention to detail, and good English communication. Candidates with AGSVA clearance will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in similar cleaning positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cleaning of touch-points.
• Other tasks as directed by Facilities Manager.

The Position

As a facilities Officer – Cleaner you will be responsible for supporting CEA business by maintaining the cleanliness of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of designated areas, scrubbing, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
• The removal of rubbish from internal bins
• Empty paper shedders
• Conduct regular cleaning of touch-points
• Other tasks as directed by Facilities Manager
• Six weeks of paid annual leave per year
