The Organisation
Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue fire fighting services at Australia's busiest airports.
Our people are our greatest asset with a dynamic and diverse team operating from locations across the country - from bustling cities to regional and remote locations, including an island. This team helps secure the future of Australia's skies and keep them amongst the safest in the world.
We connect people with their world safely, linking family and friends, generating economic activity, creating jobs, and facilitating trade and tourism.

The Facilities & Property team within the Chief Operating Officer Group is responsible for the management, maintenance and strategic development of Airservices' national property and facilities portfolio, supporting critical operations across airports, air traffic control facilities and operational sites throughout Australia.
With two opportunities available, one in Brisbane and one in Melbourne, these roles provide the opportunity to influence the performance, resilience and future investment of assets that underpin Australia's aviation network.
Reporting to the National Facilities Lead, the Senior Facilities Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring facilities, infrastructure and associated services remain safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose.
You will provide regional leadership while driving nationally consistent facilities management practices across the organisation. This includes oversight of asset performance, maintenance programs, contractor delivery, governance activities and strategic infrastructure planning that supports Airservices' operational requirements now and into the future.

Experience supporting critical infrastructure portfolios within aviation, transport, utilities, government, defence or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded.
This role requires regular travel to operational sites and a strong on-site presence to support facilities, stakeholders and service delivery outcomes.
