Job summary

Downer is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead integrated services across Stockland's diverse portfolio in Australia. You will oversee site teams, drive operational excellence, and manage cost-effective delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, optimise workforce productivity, and promote a collaborative, high-performance culture across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in facilities/property management across commercial, retail, or mixed-use sites.
• Skilled in managing multi-site operations using both self-delivery and subcontractor models.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting.
• Experienced in compliance with building codes, fire safety (e.g. BWOF), and environmental standards.
• Proficient in FM systems (CMMS, CAFM) and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in asset lifecycle, preventative maintenance, and contractor oversight.

• Lead and support site teams to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused services by fostering a collaborative culture, setting clear expectations, and developing capability aligned with Stockland's values and operational goals.
• Driving operational excellence and team engagement through collaborative leadership.
• Ensuring commercial success through cost optimisation, workforce productivity, and capability development.
• Building strong, proactive relationships with Stockland stakeholders to deliver value and responsiveness.
• Identify and support site-level service improvements and collaborative delivery models in partnership with Stockland's site leadership to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.
