Job summary

Knight Frank Australia is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a mixed-use commercial property in North Sydney & Parramatta. You will drive building performance, engage tenants, and deliver sustainability initiatives while coordinating hard services and contractor activity.

The role emphasizes on-site operations, safety, compliance and proactive issue resolution, with a focus on maintaining high presentation and service quality for occupiers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial, healthcare and/or retail assets.
• Strong understanding of hard services, maintenance coordination and building operations.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, service providers and maintenance programs.
• Experience with day-to-day operations of mixed-use commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance programs across hard services, building systems and all contractor activity.
• Monitor the building’s condition, identify issues early and drive timely follow-up as the on-site contact for clients and occupiers.
• Work with the owner’s on-site representative to manage priorities, expectations and operational needs.
• Oversee contractor access and service delivery to ensure safe, compliant and low-disruption operations.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to daily operational issues, including work orders and compliance documentation.
