Job summary

Savills Australia & New Zealand is expanding its Facilities Management team in Melbourne and is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join us. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage contractors and tenants, and drive compliance and sustainability initiatives across a diverse commercial portfolio.

The role requires strong IT skills, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to delivering exceptional service and value to clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Facilities Management, preferably managing commercial office and industrial assets.
  • Experience overseeing building operations, contractor management, compliance, maintenance programs, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong IT and systems skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management platforms.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

Due to continued growth within our Asset Management business, Savills is expanding its Facilities Management team in Melbourne and is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join us.

As part of a highly regarded and collaborative team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes across a diverse commercial property portfolio. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of a commercial property portfolio.
  • Manage contractors, service providers, and tenant maintenance requests to ensure service excellence.
  • Monitor building services, statutory compliance requirements, audits, and risk management activities.
  • Support ESG initiatives, including NABERS performance improvement strategies and sustainability programs.
  • Identify and recommend capital expenditure opportunities, building upgrades, and asset improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and financial records in accordance with client and company requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective work order management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Utilise property management systems and technology platforms to support operational performance, reporting, and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
