Job summary

Allens Corporate Services in Brisbane seeks a Facilities Manager to lead a premium workplace experience for clients, visitors and staff. You will manage tenancy maintenance, safety, and complex workplace projects within our Business Operations team, delivering seamless reception and service.

You will guide a Facilities and Guest Relations team, drive improvements, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers. This is a permanent, full-time Brisbane-based role.

  • Own workplace safety, risk, and business continuity through WH&S, emergency procedures, building security and car park.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to Facilities and Guest Relations teams to ensure high service standards.
  • Build networks with internal and external service providers to maintain high service levels.

Job description

Your role At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges. You'll be a part of our Business Operations team based in Brisbane. As a Facilities Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a premium workplace experience, that support exceptional service to our clients, visitors and people, balancing operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

As a Facilities Manager in our Business Operations team you will:

  • Manage the maintenance of the tenancy and equipment by conducting preventative maintenance inspections and attend to and/or report faults so as to provide a safe working environment
  • Take ownership of workplace safety, operational risk and business continuity through proactive management of WH&S, emergency procedures, building security systems and the car park
  • Lead complex workplace projects including relocations and refurbishments ensuring excellent stakeholder outcomes, operational continuity and an exceptional workplace experience.
  • Provide day to day leadership to the Facilities and Guest Relations team, building capability, driving high service standard and ensuring the delivery of a seamless workplace and reception experience for clients, visitors and employees.
  • Build strong networks with internal stakeholders and external service providers so as to maintain a high level of service

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

You will bring a proactive, solutions focused approach exercising sound judgement, taking ownership and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will have:

  • A client service mindset and professional approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, various stakeholders and vendors;
  • An ability to leverage systems and data to improve operational efficiency and service delivery;
  • An ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trusted relationships with stakeholders, vendors and service providers
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Resilience and enthusiasm, with a strong sense of pride in your work;
  • Strong knowledge of WH&S principles;
  • Previous experience working in a Facilities Management team within a corporate or professional services environment is high desirable
  • A growth mindset, including a willingness to learn, seek feedback, share knowledge and support the development of the team.
