Job summary

Allens in Sydney seeks a Senior Events & Networks Adviser to lead strategic, premium client events and national programs from concept through delivery.

You will manage stakeholders across the firm, analyse client data, and drive engagement with innovative digital and hybrid formats while upholding Allens' brand and client service standards.

This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid work (60% in office, 40% remote) and opportunities for growth within a leading national team.

Job description

Your role At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges. You'll be part of our National Events & Networks team, where you'll play a critical role in the delivery of Sydney client events and national programs. This is a senior role with a focus on delivering premium, brand-level programs that support client relationships and Allens' growth strategy. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on event management, making it suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environment and is confident leading key initiatives from concept through to delivery. As the Senior Events & Networks Adviser, you will:

  • Support the strategic direction of key client event programs on a national scale.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, design and delivery of client events and national programs, including setting objectives, measuring return on investment and conducting post-event evaluations.
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships across the firm to create unique, purposeful opportunities for client engagement.
  • Analyse client data, including use of the CRM system, to develop informed recommendations on how and where to target event campaigns.
  • Drive operational excellence and adopt new technologies to enhance engagement, efficiency and the client experience.
  • Support the delivery of national webinars and other digital client engagement programs.
  • Be a voice and leader in excellent client service, and in our brand to market.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.

About you
  • Extensive experience planning and executing corporate events.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels of an organisation and influence outcomes.
  • The ability to think critically, solve problems and be comfortable with complexity, ambiguity or uncertainty.
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of engaging professionally with senior partners, vendors as well as key clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; adept at juggling multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
