Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance or handyperson role, ideally within the aged care or healthcare sector.
• Strong practical skills and knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and general handyman tasks.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, including repairs, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building structures, equipment, and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and costs.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure a safe and well-functioning environment for our residents.
