Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care Australia is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance/Gardening Officer for our Narangba facility. The role focuses on maintaining the building interior and exterior to a high standard while supporting residents with care and respect.

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification (electrician) or OH&S qualification, be comfortable working outdoors 2–3 days per week, and able to operate a range of tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance
• Knowledge of Aged Care industry desirable
• Understanding of OH&S & Fire/Evacuation requirements
• Enjoy outdoor work 2-3 days a week minimum
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment
• Willingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance
• Excellent communication with residents and colleagues
• Autonomous work with limited direction
• Welding knowledge advantageous
• Ability to assess costs and plan work with documentation
• Provide quality service with dignity and privacy for residents
