Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the facilities function within site operations in Australia. You will ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained workplace, develop plans, manage suppliers, and drive continuous improvement across OPEX/CAPEX.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and regulatory expertise, with a focus on delivering high-quality facilities services for our corporate offices and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience leading remote teams.
• Facilities Management operations experience in corporate office environments.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and Australian/international standards.
• Experience in similar-sized portfolios and outsourced service providers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong client-focus and customer experience mindset.
• Experience in stakeholder/contractor management.
• Degree or diploma in Facilities Management or related area preferred.
• Experience in operating in a continuous improvement framework.
• Proven leadership, administrative ability, and project-responsibility experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the Facilities function within site operations and ensure safety, compliance, and service delivery.
• Develop and execute the Site Facilities Management & Operations Plan, including inspections and maintenance.
• Manage suppliers, sourcing, contracting, performance management, and relationships.
• Prepare and deliver regular facilities management reports on performance, incidents, costs, budgets, and service delivery.
• Oversee OPEX and CAPEX planning, budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
• Manage procurement processes, work orders, approvals, and vendor payments.
• Provide specialist facilities management expertise to stakeholders and client teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of facilities services and processes.
• Maintain accurate facilities documentation and records.
• Lead and develop direct and indirect reports and promote engagement and development.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships and support business needs.
