Indi Footscray, part of Essence Communities, seeks a proactive Handyperson to maintain apartments, common areas and back-of-house facilities. You’ll work under the Portfolio Facilities Manager to uphold high standards of presentation and resident experience.

You'll perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on maintenance experience in Handyperson or facilities roles within residential or hotel environments.
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance.
• Proactive problem solving and clear communication.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily building inspections and identify maintenance issues early.
• Perform general repairs: plumbing, painting, plastering, carpentry and fixtures.
• Maintain and repair common areas and resident amenities.
• Assist move-ins/outs and make-good repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and safely.
