Job summary

IAG in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a senior Facilities Leader to run a large, multi-site workplace operations portfolio. You will integrate facilities, hospitality, workplace services, events, catering, sustainability and customer experience into a cohesive service offering.

You will lead complex vendor partnerships, drive service excellence, manage budgets, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with business priorities across Sydney and Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, multi-site facilities and workplace operations.
• Proven ability to manage complex vendor and outsourced service models.
• Strong leadership across direct and indirect teams with stakeholder influence.
• Commercial acumen in contract management, budgeting and performance.
• Experience in CRE, hospitality, or similar corporate environments.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

What You'll Do

• Lead workplace operations and facilities services across a large trans Tasman portfolio, delivering safe, efficient and customer focused workplace experiences.
• Oversee complex outsourced service delivery models, partnering with vendors to drive performance, accountability and service excellence.
• Manage workplace services including reception, catering, events, mail services and front of house operations across multiple locations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and delivering outcomes that support business priorities.
• Drive sustainability, continuous improvement and transformation initiatives that enhance workplace experience and operational performance.
• Lead internal teams and service partners, creating a culture of collaboration, high performance and customer focus.
• Manage commercial contracts, budgets and supplier relationships to deliver value, mitigate risk and achieve strong business outcomes.

What You'll Bring

• Experience leading large multi site facilities, workplace operations or service portfolios.
• Confidence managing complex vendor relationships and outsourced service delivery models.
• Strong people leadership skills with experience leading through direct and indirect teams.
• Ability to balance facilities, hospitality, workplace services and customer experience priorities.
• Commercial acumen across contract management, budgeting and operational performance.
• Experience working in corporate real estate, hospitality, retail, aviation, healthcare, education or similar environments.
• A strategic mindset focused on service excellence, continuous improvement and positive workplace outcomes.
