Job summary

Fairview is seeking a Façade Field Manager to support our façade and cladding projects across commercial, residential, and high-rise developments. The role blends office-based technical coordination with regular site visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved throughout the project lifecycle.

Based in Sydney with approximately 50% site travel, you will read drawings, coordinate with engineers, train installers, and ensure quality outcomes while leading teams.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial, residential, high-rise, or complex construction projects.
• Experience working with builders, architects, designers, or specifiers.
• Experience in the building and construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction materials and the building process.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.

Fairview is seeking a Façade Field Manager to support our growing façade and cladding business across a diverse range of commercial, residential, and high-rise projects.

This role involves a combination of office-based technical coordination and regular site visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Management: Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and provide technical input during the design and construction phases.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
• Assist installers by providing training on the façade installation process, resolving engineers' queries, and documenting site inspection reports.

About You

You may come from a background in construction, engineering, façades, cladding, building products, or the broader building industry and possess:

• Experience working on commercial, residential, high-rise, or complex construction projects (highly regarded).
• Experience working with builders, architects, designers, or specifiers (highly regarded).
• Experience within the building and construction industry
• Experience working with builders, architects, designers, or specifiers
• Knowledge of construction materials and the building process
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
