Job summary

Facade Builder is a specialist in façade design, construction and project management, seeking a coordinating role to manage design and tender activities through to handover. You will work with the General Manager, design and construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring information is accurate and communicated clearly.

Required are a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field, plus the ability to read drawings and coordinate with

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and schematics and understand design principles.
• Clear communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Drafting software skills (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation, digitise it and maintain it on the server.
• Review design drawings for alignment with objectives, specs and requirements.
• Coordinate with design team to assess product suitability and systems.
• Assist with shop drawings and assemble, review and distribute design/tender packages.
• Check package quantities and take-offs against tender docs for accuracy.
• Assist with tender design sketches for review by the General Manager.
• Support design/engineering to check tender designs against head contract docs.
• Track tender/design programmes and identify risks to timelines.
• Coordinate review/communication of contract and project documentation.
• Manage RFIs through tender/design processes, following up queries promptly.
• Liaise with GM, design/construction teams, suppliers, subcontractors and others.
• Prepare and share tender/design status reports with relevant parties.
