We are seeking an experienced Facade Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of complex building envelope systems across high‑rise and commercial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys managing projects from concept through to delivery while working closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead facade and building envelope design development from concept through project delivery.
• Oversee the design of high‑rise curtain wall, window wall, unitised and stick‑built facade systems.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and facade performance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with:
• Structural requirements
• Thermal performance standards
• Waterproofing and air infiltration requirements
• Acoustic performance criteria
• Fire and life safety codes
• Review internal shop drawings, VMU/PMU documentation and construction details to ensure constructability and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate design comments, revisions and technical solutions with architects, consultants, external contractors and internal project teams.
• Support project delivery through effective planning, documentation and technical leadership.

About You

• Proven experience in facade engineering, facade design or building envelope management.
• Strong understanding of curtain wall, window wall, unitised and stick‑built systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and performance requirements.
• Knowledge of Australian building codes, facade standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Program‑driven, highly organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience delivering high‑rise residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects is highly regarded.
• Ability to converse fluently in Mandarin
