Job summary

Edwards Engineering in Sydney is seeking a skilled fabricator/welder for assembly, fabrication and welding with medium to heavy fabrication experience. You will read workshop drawings and perform precision metalworking.

You will work with MIG welding, grinding, oxycutting, sawing and guillotining, set up punch and shear machines, and plan your workload efficiently. A positive team attitude is essential, with permanent position after a trial period.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, fabrication and welding for medium to heavy fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Skilled in MIG welding.
• Experience with grinding, oxy-cutting, sawing and guillotine work.
• Setup and operate punch and shear machines.
• Able to plan and work efficiently.
• Positive attitude and good teamwork.
• Australian resident required.

Responsibilities
