Double Glazed Architectural Windows in Geelong is seeking a Factory Fabricator to join our team. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling aluminium windows and doors from drawings and cutting lists in a full-time, local factory setting.

You will cut, machine and prepare profiles, assemble frames and install hardware, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Experience with factory machinery and a team-oriented mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Has experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors, or similar manufacturing experience.
• Can confidently use hand tools, power tools and factory machinery.
• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their workmanship.
• Can accurately read measurements and fabrication drawings.
• Reli able, punctual and organised; understands quality control and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aluminium windows and doors from drawings and specifications.
• Cut, machine and prepare aluminium profiles.
• Assemble window and door frames, sashes and panels.
• Install hardware, locks, rollers, hinges and components.
• Glaze and prepare completed units as required.
• Read fabrication drawings, cutting lists and job sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organised work area.
• Work with factory and installation teams to meet schedules.

Factory Fabricator – Aluminium Windows & Doors

Double Glazed Architectural Windows (DGAW) is seeking a reliable and experienced Factory Fabricator to join our growing team in South Geelong.

About the Role

This is a full-time factory-based position involving the fabrication and assembly of aluminium windows and doors from supplied drawings and cutting lists.

• Fabricating aluminium windows and doors to supplied drawings and specifications
• Cutting, machining and preparing aluminium profiles
• Assembling window and door frames, sashes and panels
• Installing hardware, locks, rollers, hinges and associated components
• Glazing and preparing completed units where required
• Checking measurements, squareness, operation and overall finish
• Reading fabrication drawings, cutting lists and job sheets
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
• Working closely with our factory and installation teams to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors, or similar manufacturing experience
• Can confidently use hand tools, power tools and factory machinery
• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their workmanship
• Can accurately read measurements and fabrication drawings
• Works well both independently and as part of a teamIs reliable, punctual and organised
• Understands the importance of quality control and workplace safety

Experience with Alspec window and door systems would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right applicant.
