Job summary

CVD GLASS is a premium in-house aluminium glazing manufacturer delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across Sydney. We are seeking an experienced fabricator to produce aluminium windows and doors from Alspec specifications, reading drawings and cut lists with minimal supervision.

You'll operate and maintain fabrication equipment in a modern factory, adhere to SOPs and quality standards, and work with the existing team. Immediate start and steady, year-round work offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications unsupervised.
• Own tools and driver's licence.

Job description

Fabricating aluminium windows and doors to specification using Alspec systems for a premium in-house aluminium glazing manufacturer supplying and installing high-end residential and commercial projects across Sydney and the Gold Coast. This is not an entry-level position you will be productive from day one working with current-generation equipment in a modern factory with documented processes.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricating aluminium windows and doors to spec, using Alspec systems
• Reading and working from technical drawings and cut lists without supervision
• Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment (saws, machining centres, glazing beads, hardware fit-off)
• Working to CVD's documented factory SOPs and quality standard on every unit
• Working alongside the current fabrication team

About you

• Minimum 2+ years' experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors
• Confident reading technical drawings and specifications unsupervised
• Experience with Alspec or comparable aluminium systems
• Own tools
• Driver's licence
