Job summary

Zeal Futures invites applicants to pursue a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade while gaining hands-on experience on large industrial equipment. You’ll perform planned maintenance, mark out jobs, set up machines, and apply fabrication techniques.

Job description

Whilst studying a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade over 4 years whilst working at Ventia, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Perform plannedmaintenance and repairs of fabrication equipment
• Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures forthe fabrication of large and diverse industrial equipment
• Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques
• Use a combination of hand and power tools

What we’re looking for -

• Commitment to both on and off the job training.
• Show genuine interest and enthusiasm towards the fabrication apprenticeship.
• Ability to work in small and large workgroups
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills with fire systems

Must haves -

• Hold a P1or above drivers licence (or obtaining by January 2027)
• White Card
• Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Medical including functional, audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening
