Zeal Futures Pty is offering a Certificate III Carpentry apprenticeship where you’ll gain hands-on experience in framing, weatherproofing and cladding on live builds. You’ll work under supervision to learn safe, practical trade skills while following site procedures and instructions.

You’ll develop communication skills, confidence on site, and a genuine interest in pursuing a carpentry career through structured on-and off-the-job training and mentoring.

Qualificações

• Commitment to both on and off the job training.
• Genuine interest in building a carpentry career.
• Good, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident on job sites and with using tools.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and develop new skills
• Hold a P1 or higher driver's licence (or close to obtaining).
• White card (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment medical, including functional and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsabilidades

• House framing: build wall frames from the ground up, install floor systems for second storey's and install roof trusses.
• House cladding: wrap homes in sarking, install windows, weatherboards and panelling.
• Using hand and power tools, including nail guns, circular saws and drills.
• Following site procedures, work instructions and safe work practices while developing practical trade skills.
• Carrying out other duties within apprentice skills, competence and ability.

Whilst studying a Certificate III Carpentry over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• House framing: build wall frames from the ground up, install floor systems for second storey's and install roof trusses.
• House cladding: wrap homes in sarking to keep them protected and weather ready, install windows, cut and fit weatherboards and panelling.
• Using hand and power tools, including nail guns, circular saws and drills
• Following site procedures, work instructions and safe work practices while developing practical trade skills
• Carrying out other duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required.

What we're looking for -
