Hyatt and StandardX Melbourne seek a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the restaurant and bar operations. You’ll be hands-on on the floor, jump behind the bar when needed, and coach a team that loves what they do to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

Bring personality and presence to a role that values genuine hospitality, reading the room, and driving guest engagement across day and night service. Victorian RSA required and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualificações

• Previous supervisory or senior Food & Beverage experience in a quality restaurant, bar or hotel environment.
• Strong restaurant and bar experience, including cocktails, wine and coffee.
• A current Victorian RSA.
• Confidence leading a team and the ability to coach, motivate and bring out the best in others.
• Commercial awareness, including an understanding of revenue, labour costs, stock control and profitability.
• Knowledge of food safety, responsible service and safe workplace practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day‑to‑day operation of our restaurant and bar and ensure service feels effortless.
• Be a host in every sense of the word — welcoming guests, reading the room and creating experiences.
• Support the F&B Management team in leading, coaching and developing the team.
• Take the lead during service.
• Get hands‑on across the operation, from restaurant service to cocktails, wine and coffee.
• Deliver engaging cocktail, wine and service training that builds confidence and consistency.
• Create opportunities to drive revenue through great hospitality and guest engagement.
• Help manage stock, purchasing, labour and costs while maintaining standards.
• Build strong relationships across the hotel and encourage collaboration.
• Maintain RS&A, food safety, WHS and licensing requirements.
