Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Australia seeks a Food and Beverage Manager to lead the F&B department, managing chefs and cafe attendants across front and back of house. The role focuses on building a strong team, implementing efficient processes, and maintaining a culture of fun and professionalism.

You will ensure operating controls, supervise rostering, uphold safety and hygiene standards, and work with the Head Chef to maximise revenue while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in a dynamic team environment.
• Able to lead with minimal supervision as a manager.
• RSA certification.
• Barista training.
• First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain controls to achieve budgeted revenue and control costs via rostering and supervision.
• Ensure safety and food hygiene standards; manage weekly cleaning schedules.
• Ensure staff know club facilities, menus and wine lists to maximise revenue per customer.
• Communicate regularly with staff; circulate information via briefings.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and cafe team to meet service goals.
• Train staff in up-selling techniques and maintain host responsibilities.
• Follow cost-control procedures for COGS and wage management; minimise wastage.
