Job summary

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the restaurant and bar operations on a full-time basis. The role.Shifts are predominantly evenings with weekend work expectations, and RSA certification is required to ensure compliant service.

The successful candidate will oversee the F&B team, manage rostering, collaborate with the kitchen, and drive service excellence and guest satisfaction across the property.

Qualifications

• 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
• Solid understanding of alcohol service; leadership and communication.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant & bar.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high-performing team.
• Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
