Job summary

Minor Hotels, through Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant and bar operations in Mount View, NSW. This full-time role emphasizes guest-focused service, team leadership, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

You will oversee the F&B team, work evening shifts, and be available weekends as required, with opportunities for growth within a global hospitality group.

Qualifications

• 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
• Solid understanding of alcohol service (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• High level of self-motivation, confidence, and leadership capability.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth, efficient daily operations of restaurant & bar.
• Develop understanding of F&B offerings to promote to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen during service for quality and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise, coach, and train F&B Attendants; foster a high-performing team.
• Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards.
• Monitor RSA, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and reporting.
• Drive guest satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
