Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum with ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in using scaffolding and trauma-informed approaches.
• Experience in monitoring and using data to inform teaching and give feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school activities.
• Undertake other supervisory duties as required.
