Job summary

Legacy Clean Co is seeking a reliable Exterior Cleaner / Roof Cleaner to join our growing Sydney team. This casual role starts at 40.00 per hour and offers training, with potential move into full-time after proving skills.

You will perform residential and commercial exterior cleaning including roof cleaning, soft washing, window cleaning, and pressure washing, with ride-on scrubber work as required. Immediate start available; company vehicle after probation and vehicle-expense reimbursements

Qualifications

• Own reliable ute with tow bar.
• Current White Card.
• Current Working at Heights ticket (required for roof work).
• Full Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow SWMS and site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Roof Cleaning of residential roofs: remove dirt, mould, moss and algae.
• Soft Washing of house exteriors, walls, roofs and surfaces.
• Window Cleaning using traditional squeegee and water-fed pole systems.
• Pressure Washing of driveways, pathways, concrete and external surfaces.
• Ride-On Scrubber Operation in car parks, warehouses or large concrete areas (training provided).
• General exterior cleaning on various residential and commercial projects.

Job description

Legacy Clean Co is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Exterior Cleaner / Roof Cleaner to join our growing team.

This is a casual position with the opportunity to move into full-time employment once you have demonstrated your skills, reliability and potential within the company.

Previous experience in exterior cleaning or roofing is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Starting Rate: $40.00 per hour

THE ROLE

You will be carrying out residential and commercial exterior cleaning services across Sydney, including:

• Roof Cleaning – Cleaning residential roofs, removing dirt, mould, moss and algae.
• Soft Washing – Low-pressure cleaning of house exteriors, walls, roofs and other surfaces.
• Window Cleaning – Traditional squeegee cleaning and water-fed pole systems.
• Pressure Washing – Cleaning driveways, pathways, concrete, patios and other external surfaces.
• Ride-On Scrubber Operation – Operating commercial ride-on floor scrubbers to clean car parks, warehouses, construction sites and large concrete surfaces. Full training provided.
• General Exterior Cleaning – Various residential and commercial exterior cleaning projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• Own reliable ute with a tow bar – Reimbursements provided for approved work-related vehicle expenses. Company vehicle provided upon successful completion of the probation period.
• Current White Card
• Current Working at Heights ticket (required for roof work)
• Full Australian driver's licence
• Confidence working outdoors and performing physically demanding tasks
• Ability to follow SWMS and site safety procedures
• Good attention to detail and pride in their work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills and operate cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability for early morning starts

Highly Regarded (Not Essential)

• Previous roof cleaning or roofing experience
• Experience with pressure washing equipment
• Experience with soft washing systems and chemicals
• Experience with traditional or water-fed pole window cleaning
• Experience operating ride-on scrubbers or sweepers
• Experience working safely on single and two-story residential roofs
• Knowledge of harness systems and correct roof anchoring procedures

Applicants without previous exterior cleaning or ride-on scrubber experience are encouraged to apply. Appropriate training and supervision will be provided. Roof work will only be undertaken by workers who are trained, competent and appropriately equipped.
