Job summary

Aveo Group is seeking Casual Personal Care Attendants to support residents across our bayside locations in Cleveland, Rochedale and Redland Bay. You will deliver in-home care, support daily activities, and help residents maintain independence in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or Home Care Worker.
• Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with residents.
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistant (required).
• Valid driver’s license + vehicle (required).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 vaccinations (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care, support and daily assistance to residents.
• Assist with daily tasks including personal hygiene, medication, housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage residents in activities in-home or in the community (appointments, light exercise).
• Maintain up-to-date resident notes and care plans.
• Follow Aveo OH&S policies and report safety/incidents.

The Opportunity

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

We are currently opening Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Casual Personal Care Attendants to join our team across our bayside locations in Cleveland, Rochedale and Redland Bay.

Your Impact

• Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
• Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments or light exercise)
• Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
• Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
• Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents

What you'll bring

• Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
